Yoga Classes

I offer a One to One session if you are a complete beginner, introducing you gently to the aspects of Yoga, how beneficial it is physically, mentally and emotionally.

The session starts with relaxing the body on the mat followed by coming into a sitting position and doing some gentle exercises to loosen up the spine.

We then come up in a standing position for some stretches and sun salutation followed by various positions (asanas). In between each position we allow the body to relax. The last 10 minutes of the session is spent in relaxing completely the body, the mind and the emotions.

Once you become familiar with the positions I would encourage the student to join a group of 2 or 3 students thus taking advantage of the energy flowing and meeting supportive friends.

If you are familiar with Yoga we go through the same discipline at a faster rate, or hold the positions longer.

My students progress at their own pace. The sessions last 90 minutes and they run continuously throughout the year. Both daytime and evening classes are available – Monday to Friday and where possible timings are flexible to fit in with the student’s other commitments.

I welcome men and women of all ages, any flexibility and pregnant ladies.

Mats and blocks are provided for use by my students.
