I begin each class with relaxation (sarvasana), followed by chanting to give my students the opportunity to open up their heart. Breathing practices (pranayama) precede a series of postures (asanas) before the class finishes with relaxation and meditation.
I design the classes according to my students’ current abilities and personal goals, helping each to progress gradually towards greater flexibility and adopting a positive attitude. Very personal attention is thus received in a studio offering a warm, friendly, safe and non-competitive atmosphere.
Over time my students find that they make marked improvements in the postures they can hold, usually well above their original expectations. |
